At Ode to Swine Butcher Shop we want to do whatever we can to help customers find the perfect cuts for the families and budgets. With trying times and cost of living prices flying, we wanted to offer healthy beef at an affordable rate. We researched long and hard and we are now proud to offer 1/2 & 1/4 whole beef options.
Our Local, Pasture Raised Angus Beef, is 100% Grass Fed & Finished. Our grass fed beef is born, raised, and harvested in the Pacific Northwest. We work directly with small, local Rancher and Farmers to ensure the freshest beef.
Because our beef is 100% grass fed, it would take twice as long to raise our beef to the same size as commercially raised beef. Our slower growth rate produces a smaller final product making it easier to take home smaller amount. Our beef hot hanging weight is around 525lbs. Making it about 260lbs per side. After cutting into retail packages, there is a final yield of about 225lbs of take home products. We only charge for product you take home so you will never have to pay for loss.
Unlike most 1/2 and 1/4 beef suppliers, our beef is hand processed by a real Master Butcher in a U.S.D.A. Certified Facility. This ensures the highest product safety and procedures.
All items are vacuum sealed( with the exception of bones) to ensure the longest shelf life possible.
